Who we are
Websites for Owners builds and looks after websites for small, owner-run businesses across the United States. You can reach us through our contact form or by email at hello@websitesforowners.com.
What we collect
When you use our contact form, we collect what you type in: your name, business name, email, service area, type of business, website link and message.
Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs, like IP address and browser type, to keep the site secure.
How we use it

What we don't do
We don't sell your information. We don't share it for advertising. We don't add you to a mailing list unless you ask.
Who helps us
We use a few service providers to run the business, such as our web host, a form service and a payment processor. They only get what they need to do their job.
Your clients' customers
If you use a plan with texts, follow-ups or phone answering, we handle your customers' details on your behalf and only to provide that service. Texts only go to people who agreed to get them, and anyone can reply STOP to opt out.
How long we keep it
We keep your details while we're talking or working together. If you don't become a client, we delete them within 12 months, or sooner if you ask.
If you're a client and you cancel, we archive your site's content so we can restore your site if you come back, and we may use the archived build as a demo sample, as our Terms explain.
Your choices
You can ask to see, fix or delete the information we have about you. Send the request through our contact form or to hello@websitesforowners.com.
Children
This site is for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
